At JMD Studios – East in Millersville, MD, we’re more than just a dance school — we’re a community where students of all ages discover confidence, creativity, and leadership through the art of dance.

We offer a wide variety of classes for kids and adults, including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Acro, Musical Theater, and Danceabilities (for our dancers with special needs). Each class emphasizes more than just dance technique — it’s about building self-expression, discipline, and resilience that extends into all aspects of life.

For young dancers, our Toddlers and Preschoolers Dance programs teach essential motor skills, movement, and basic dance foundations like tap, ballet, jazz, and Acro. Our nurturing environment encourages self-confidence, showing students that effort and commitment lead to success both on and off the dance floor.

In our Pre-teens & Teens program, dancers develop strength and perseverance through ballet, jazz, and Acro, learning to face challenges with determination and grace.

For adults, we offer a space to recharge and grow through Teen/Adult Ballet, Jazz, and Acro classes. Our focus goes beyond fitness, fostering a supportive community where dancers can improve technique, challenge themselves, and build lifelong skills.
